To mark 2022 World Breastfeeding Week, Avon Healthcare Limited (Avon HMO) will hold its first breastfeeding forum tomorrow.
The event, to hold at The Zone in Gbagada, is in partnership with Milky Express. The World Breastfeeding Week is championed globally by World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action (WABA).
Chief Executive Officer of Avon Adesimbo Ukiri said: “This forum will empower mothers and equip them with more information and resources on this unique journey.”
The forum is designed as a safe space for mothers to connect, relax, and learn. Leading experts in maternal and child health will offer professional advice. There will be interactive sessions with Titilayo Medunoye, Nigeria’s first Lactation consultant and chief executive officer of Milky Express; Tosin Olufemi, chief executive officer of New Mums Hub; Dr Ayodele Renner, consultant paediatrician; and Dr Olubunmi Salako, consultant paediatrician at Avon Medical Practice.
