NOLLYWOOD actress Lily Afe has played down the popular belief that being entitled is bad.
Afe, during a live video recently, noted that being entitled to a cause that one has invested in is not wrong in any way.
She said that she gives back the same energy given by friends either for good or less.
“We’ve passed the stage where friendship is just about turning up or going to parties, we must connect each other to places where your career or dreams get a boost,” she said.
“Your friends are always there for you when you need them but when you have an opportunity for something that can help their life and they are good at it but you recommend someone else that is not even as good as your friends are and you come and say they are feeling entitled. You are not a good person.
“Life is give and take as much as we hate to say it but it is. If someone is giving you from their heart you should be able to reciprocate that energy. If they are giving you the positive energy you should be able to do the same.
“Those people that always hide behind ‘nobody owes you anything’ are not good people because you have an opportunity to help a friend who has always been there for you but when it’s their turn you hire someone else. If you don’t want me to be entitled don’t call me when you are crying.”
