Not less than 30 entrepreneurs have been empowered with business plan writing skills by a social enterprise, Dayo Adetiloye Business Hub (DABH).
The three-day training which held virtually helped to connect entrepreneurs with knowledge, resources as well as empowered players in the SME ecosystem in parts of Africa, including participants from Tanzania, Egypt and Nigeria.
Founder DABH, Dayo Adetiloye, who noted the reason behind the training and empowerment as that which hopes to tackle the issue of unemployment across Africa said “The training covers comprehensive learning on A–Z of writing a bankable business plan and financial analysis for any industry and also how to use the business plan to win grants, take loans and approach investors. It also shows entrepreneurs how to build 8 figure earnings business plan company and how to start a freelance business with your business plan skill.”
He further noted that the unemployment situation in Nigeria needs the involvement of all stakeholders to support the development and growth of new businesses, in his words “The skill of business plan writing can truly empower our youth to be gainfully employed,” said Adetiloye.
Mashoud Muhammad Mahmud who was one of the participants commended the organizers, he said “It’s a pleasure joining the training and I understand a lot can be done without going the extra mile with little resources. You guys are resourceful and I look forward to an experienced engagement which I believe should be much better than anticipated.”
Speaking in the same vein Oluwole Osifoluke said “When I read the advert for a business plan writing course, I liked the idea, though a bit skeptical. But, by the end of the training, it dawned on me that I’ve made the smartest decision since I left college. It was by far more valuable than I bargained and won’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone who has an idea to sell to the world.”
