Beverage company, Cadbury has rewarded best-dressed to its launch with the sum of N1,000,000.
The British multinational confectionery company recently launched its new Candy flavours as well as introduced a new look look to one of its already existing flavours.
The launch took place in a special candy-land party tagged, “Like a Child Again” at the Filmhouse Cinema, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Guests were treated to rounds of finger foods, cakes and confectionery, as well as assorted drinks, as they enjoyed music of the early 2000s.
Most guests showed up in their best versions of ‘90s fashions, while others wore costumes of their favourite movie or superhero character.
The best-dressed guest was also rewarded as she walked home with the sum of N1,000,000.
A high point of the event was the nostalgic feeling evoked with the screening of the 1994 Disney classic ‘The Lion King.’
Speaking at the event, MD, Cadbury Nigeria Plc and Mondelez West Africa, Oyeyimika Adeboye explained the importance of the brand to serve as a bridge between generations.
“Today’s consumers are fun. They are not looking for something boring. Everybody comes to the movies, and so we are showcasing a movie that resonates with all generations, from the older to the child. Our candies are for all generations, too,” she said.
