A lawyer, Bola Abimbola-Ige, representing a family whose two members were killed in Ede, Osun State, over election largess, has claimed that the chief security officer-designate to governor-elect Ademola Adeleke, CSP Isaac Omoyele, admitted killing Abideen Olalekan.
Abideen and Kafayat Olalekan were allegedly killed on August 5 by CSP Isaac Omoyele when his team was led to the house of the victims. The house was also razed.
Speaking with the reporter, Abimbola-Ige, confirmed that the police conducted autopsy on the deceased at Osun State University Teaching Hospital, Osogbo.

He said, “Police just conducted the autopsy in my presence and family members of the deceased, having gone through necessary investigations, by interrogating the principal suspect, CSP Omoyele and his colleagues, as well as the complainants.
“The alleged police officer, CSP Omoyele, didn’t deny the killing but only said that he killed one person. He only admitted the killing of Abideen Olalekan. He said he wasn’t responsible for the killing of Kafayat Olalekan.”
A younger sister to the deceased, Mrs Rukayat Olalekan Olasoji said all that the family is seeking for is justice.
“We don’t want this matter to be swept under the carpet,” she said.
