Speaking in Ibadan during the opening of the Southwest zonal office of the party along Eleyele, SDP Presidential candidate,
Adewole Adebayo urged Nigerians to vote for party that would priortise interests of traders, youths, students and artisans so that they can enjoy dividends of democracy to the fullest.

According to him, Nigeria is full of milk and honey which is enough to alleviate suffering but something went wrong along the line.

He urged Nigerians to join hands and contribute their quota in making sure that the country regain its status.

Adebayo said ambition is to restore the glory of Nigeria in the areas of security, economy, employment generation, unity and rekindling of people’s hope and confidence in the government.

He said: “We are yet to evolve truly as a nation, even 23 years after uninterrupted democratic process, our party is out to correct all those militating against this.

“Those who know us would appreciate that our party loves peace and not given to the do-or-die tendency of some people, which we have identified to be the function of government of exclusiveness that the country has over the years been having instead of government of inclusiveness which our party would promote if given the mandate to rule the country.”

“When people know and feel it that a government that is in place caters for the interest of all without consideration for your tribe, language or religion, they won’t find it difficult to repose their confidence in such government and give the government its rights, because, in turn, government would give them their rights.”
