Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has reportedly ranked  above Juventus forward  Dusan Vlahovic

and  Liverpool’s new signing Darwin Nunez in the  recently released CIEF data in the under 25-year-old  Target man Shooter category .

Chelsea’s Kai Havertz ranked  highest on the list, and is followed by Atletico Mineiro forward Matias Zaracho in second place.

Osimhen with 93.3 edges Barcelona’s Ferran Torres to fourth by 0.3 points while Liverpool’s €80m signing, Darwin Nunez,  Tammy  Abraham, Man City’s Julian Alvarez, Atletico Madrid’s Matthaüs Cunha and Evanilson De Lima are all on the list.

Osimhen was a subject of interests during the summer but none came through as clubs fell short of his exorbitant €100-110m valuation.

The Nigerian has impressed so far this season as he has helped Napoli to mount an early title challenge.

He was also vital to Napoli’s 4-0 win against Liverpool last week in the UEFA Champions League despite featuring for just 42 minutes in the game.

Napoli have confirmed that Osimhen will be out for a number of weeks after he sustained a hamstring injury but is not expected to be out for a long.

Meanwhile,  Napoli has provided an update  on Osimhen  ahead of their UEFA Champions League match against Glasgow Rangers tomorrow.

The club said yesterday  that while others  were involved in rigorous training  ahead of their trip to Glasgow, Osimhen and few others were out on the treatment table.

“After a warm-up and rondos, the group completed tactical drills, training matches on a small pitch and set-piece practice,” the club said on their website . “Diego Demme followed a personalised programme on the pitch, while Victor Osimhen underwent treatment. Hirving Lozano did not train as he was feeling unwell.”
