One Afolabi Fasogbon has cried out to Police authority to save his landed property from being forcibly taken by six principal encroachers and others.
In a petition addressed to the Ota Area Command of Ogun State Police Command, Fasogbon said the parcel of land at Kilometer 1-8 along Ota-Idiroko road was an inherited property from his father.
He noted that the property is currently a subject of litigation at the Ota High Court and that despite the suit, the suspects have continued to sell the land to unsuspecting customers.
‘’We have approached the (state) High Court in Ota in suit no HCT/614/2020 but they(encroachers) have continued to sell the land to their unsuspected customers without regard for the court process.’’
He urged police to stop the suspects from further trespassing on the land to prevent the matter from escalating to a communal crisis.
