The Babajide Sanwo-Olu Movement, a campaign group supporting the second term aspiration of Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has commended him for appointing a grassroot politician, Mr. Owolabi Falana as a member of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB).
They described Falana as a round peg in a round role, whose loyalty and commitment to the All Progressives Congress (APC) as exemplary.
At a stakeholders’ conference held in Lagos titled ‘Youth Inclusiveness: Catalyst for a Lagos Smart City,’ the stakeholders also called on Nigerian youths to contribute meaningfully to nation building by participating actively in grassroot politics in order to engender more development in their respective communities.

Furthermore, they were also enjoined to collaborate with government at all levels in the implementation of policies and programmes as against acting as agents of disunity and destruction.
Guest Speaker at the conference, Hon. Fuad Oki and other stakeholders urged youths to mobilise enmasse for the second term victory of Governor Sanwo-Olu, in order to consolidate on the successful implementation of his T.H.E.M.E Agenda in the past four years.
Guests at the event include the Chairman of Lagos SUBEB, Hon. Alawiye King, Chairman of Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON), Barrister Kolade Alabi and the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on SDGs, Mr. Lekan Fatodu, amongst others.
