Flamingos’ defender, Miracle Usani said the country’s U-17 side is not scared about the prospect of facing Germany, Chile, and New Zealand at the India 2022 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
Nigeria’s representative swept aside DR Congo, Egypt and Ethiopia during the qualifiers and Usani is of the view that their Group B foes won’t stand in their way and the next round ticket in India.
“The journey was okay. We prepared very well for the qualifiers. We are now going to the World Cup and we hope to put in our very best,” Usani said.“I believe we can do it. Germany, Chile and New Zealand can’t stand in our way and the next round ticket.”
