Seventeen youthful contestants took the centre stage to serenade the audience with evergreen Afrobeats hits from the stable of Kennis Music as Naija Star Search’s main show kicked off last Sunday.
The judges, Keke Ogungbe, ID Cabasa, and Asha Gangali, couldn’t hide their excitement as the contestants serenaded the live studio audience leaving them with nostalgia.
The contestants with diverse backgrounds and orientations were grouped under Team Kenny, Team ID Cabasa, and Team Ash.
Team Kennis performed Baby I Got It by Capital FEMI featuring Eedris Abdulkareem, Team Asha Gangali performed You is the One by Azadus, while Team ID Cabasa performed Live in Yankee by Eedris Abdulkareem.

“That’s just a warm-up to the show,” lead judge, Kenny Ogungbe said.
