Brake failure by a commercial bus at Uselu, Benin, the Edo State capital, has led to the death of four persons.
It was gathered yesterday that two of the victims were personnel of the Nigerian Army, who were at the nearby Supply and Transport (S&T) Barracks, for a course, but rammed into by the bus, while crossing the ever-busy and dualised road.

The Acting Assistant Director, Army Public Relations of 4 Brigade, Benin, Lt. I.K. Bishir, could not confirm the sad incident.
Edo Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Henry Banamaisia, however, attributed the accident to brake failure, while revealing that a commercial bus and an Audi car were involved.
Banamaisia disclosed that two of the victims died on the spot, while three were rushed to the hospital, and two of them later died, totalling four victims.
