NSIA gets new management

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Aminu Umar-Sadiq, as the new Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA).

Also appointed are Mr. Kolawole Owodunni and Mrs. Bisi Makoju, as Executive Directors of the NSIA.

These follow the expiration of the tenure of the erstwhile MD, Mr. Uche Orji, whose tenure expired on September 30, after serving two five-year terms.

A statement from the Federal Ministry of Finance, Budget and National Planning said:  “Aminu Umar-Sadiq, who is an Executive Director and Head of Infrastructure, has a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Engineering Sciences from University of Oxford (Saint John’s College), Oxford, United Kingdom (UK)”.

Umar-Sadiq is an Archbishop Tutu Leadership Fellow (ATLF) and also a Mandela Washington Fellow (MWF).
