Former Minister of Communications, Barrister Adebayo Shittu, has called on members and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to mobilise massively to ensure victory for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in next year’s presidential election.
He spoke in Ota, Ogun State, during a stakeholders’ engagement organised by a support group, Progressives Friends for Asiwaju (Ogun State chapter).
He told a crowd of APC enthusiasts that the South West must deliver millions of votes for Tinubu, whom he described as a national political brand whose popularity cuts across the nation’s six geo-political zones.

Speaking in a similar vein, Senator Anthony Adefuye, a member of the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC), the highest political organ in Lagos State, urged the people of Ogun State to support Asiwaju Tinubu in his quest to emerge as Nigeria’s next president, describing him as the best man for the job.
Adefuye, who was Tinubu’s colleague in the Senate in the Third Republic, added that among the contenders for the presidency, only Tinubu has the track record of public service to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari.
