Edo State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Col. David Imuse (retd.), has said no other presidential candidate can match the capacity of the party’s standard bearer, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, in the February 25, 2023 election.
Another chieftain of the party in the state, Dr. Washington Osifo, described the former Lagos State governor as the best among the presidential candidates.
Imuse and Osifo spoke yesterday at Edo State APC youth summit in Benin, the state capital, which almost all the candidates of the party in the state for next year’s polls attended.
The summit, with the theme: Vote and Protect Your Vote, was organised by Edo APC’s Youth Leader Tony Kabaka Edun, who doubles as the Deputy Director General for the Southsouth of APC Presidential Campaign Council (APC-PCC).
Imuse said: “Asiwaju Tinubu is a man that is unparalleled. All candidates of APC are sellable. There is no presidential candidate in Nigeria that can match the capacity of Asiwaju Tinubu, a visionary leader who nurtures good talents and positions them.

“In the last three decades, Asiwaju Tinubu has been the major issue of Nigerian politics. So, his victory on February 25, 2023 is assured.”
“The youths are the driving force behind any political party, and the engine room of any organisation. Winning the 2023 and 2024 elections rests squarely on the shoulders of the youths. Candidates of APC in Edo State must emerge victorious.
“For us in Edo State, the 2023 elections will be the gateway to winning the 2024 governorship election. There is currently no government in Edo State. What we have is a sole administrator…”
Osifo, who was the guest speaker, urged the youth and other electorate in Edo State to massively vote for APC’s candidates and protect their votes.
