Council to members: be campaign ambassadors to Tinubu/Shettima

All Progressives Congress (APC) Professional Council has called on members to be ambassadors of the party’s presidential candidtate Asiwjau Bola Tinubu and running mate, Kashim Shettima.

National Director-General Seyi Bamigbade spoke in Adamawa State at the kick off of the council’s empowerment scheme.

The programme targets at artisans and professionals with tuition-free scholarships.

He said the scheme would empower 180,000 with a means of livelihood and access to economic activities.

Bamigbade, in a statement he signed, said: “Beneficiaries are to be trained in ICT, catering, interior decoration and event planning, plumbing and others.

‘’They will also be assisted with start-up capital for self-reliance and to become employers of labour.”

Bamigbade said Nigerians were waiting for Tinubu and Shettima to lead the nation to greatness.

He called on members to campaign for Tinubu, saying a new Nigeria was possible with the vision which the Lagos State former governor would bring into governance.

Highpoint of the event was reception of about 7,500 defectors from Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
