The team which assembled on Monday in Ibadan and resumed training a day later faced the Ibadan-based non-league side in their first friendly game preparatory to the 2024 U-23 African Cup of Nations qualifying game against Tanzania with the first leg fixed for next weekend in Dares Salam.
U23 team head coach, Salisu Yusuf wanted to use the warm-up to see players that he invited to camp but it turned out to be a disgraceful outing in the ancient city of Ibadan.
