Top filmmaker Charles Novia has revealed that his journey into filmmaking did not start overnight but as a result being exposed to the creativity of animation.
The Nollywood filmmaker disclosed that his flair to start making movies was as a result of comics and animations he read and watched while growing up as a child.
Novia, a household name in Nollywood, said animations triggered his curiosity which therefore pushed him into making research.

Novia made this known during the recent Lagos Comicon which was held in Victoria Island, Lagos.
“I grew up reading comics and watching a lot of animations and that’s part of what influenced my decision to be a filmmaker,” he told The Nation.
“Most of the things I learnt about science, theology and geography was through reading the Marvel and DC comics.”
