CAF Women’s Champions League: Bayelsa Queens open campaigns against Sundowns

Bayelsa Queens will open their campaign against defending champions, Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa on October 31 when the 2022 Women’s CAF Champions League gets underway.

Nigeria’s champions Bayelsa Queens are among the teams that will participate in the second edition of the women’s continental competition as the second Nigerian side to feature in the tournament as Rivers Angels took part in the inaugural edition but failed to make it beyond the group stage.

The fixtures released by CAF indicated that the tournament would kick off on October 30 with host AS FAR FC taking on Simba Queens.

Bayelsa Queens is in group B and will slug it out against the South African champions on October 31 at Grand Stade De Marrakech.

The final group matches will come up on the 6th  of November, Semi Final will take on the 9th  of the same month.

The loser final is to take place on the 12th  while the final is fixed for the 13th  of November, 2022.
