Erling Haaland has been unstoppable in front of goal this season – but a Brighton defender reckoned he’s got the ideal solution to bring the Manchester City striker to a halt.

Liverpool have been one of few teams able to keep Haaland quiet this term, courtesy of a defensive masterclass by England hopeful Joe Gomez. And the 22-year-old will be itching to get back on the scoresheet against City’s next opponents in the league, Brighton.
