CEREBRAL, charismatic, and savvy are some of the words that credibly describe the person of Nigerian billionaire Tony Elumelu.
Despite all he has to do as the chairman of Heirs Holdings, Tony Elumelu Foundation, UBA Group, and Transcorp Group, Elumelu has remained a doting husband, father, mentor, entrepreneur, investor, and Africapitalist. This grace has become a topic of discourse among his mentees and employees because many wonder how he’s able to remain doting on his beautiful wife and daughters with all his responsibilities.
It’s no such surprise when Elumelu, alongside his UBA Group team, led by the Group Managing Director, Oliver Alawuba, fete executive and non-executive board directors of UBA while felicitating with the ex-First Lady of Cross River State, Owanari Duke, on her birthday.

Elumelu attended the board of directors meeting with Alawuba where the directors deliberated on the growth and success of the bank for Q3. The directors had their lunch before Onari was called upon to be celebrated despite being a conservative trained lawyer with hands in some sectors of the economy as a board member and director.
A seemingly happy Onari couldn’t hide her joy as other directors felicitated her by singing the birthday song after which a moderate birthday cake was cut and shared with all the directors in attendance.
