The alumni of St. Charles’ Grammar School, Osogbo have rewarded teachers of the school with N1.5 million for the good performance of students in the 2022 West Africa Examination Council(WAEC) result.
Speaking during the presentation of cheques to the teachers on Friday, the president of the old students, Tade Adekunle, disclosed that N1.5 million was donated to the teachers because of their efforts that were felt in the performance of the students that sat for the last WAEC.

He explained that teachers numbering 9, including mathematics, English language, and Physics teachers performed exceptionally because all the students passed the subjects they sat for during the 2022 WAEC examination.
Adekunle said: “All the students that sat for Mathematics, English Language, and Physics passed while some others passed between 96 and 98 percent.”
