Singer and songwriter, Ayeni Benjamin aka Razzy AG, has expressed deep concerns over the increasing number of music producers who have since dropped production for singing.

Razzy AG expressed mixed feelings about what appears to be a growing trend across the industry, saying he welcomes the idea as it helps to further widen the music net of Afrobeats to the world.

The Ekiti-born singer said he appreciates that afrobeat music has become one of Nigeria’s biggest exports without much support from the government.

The dark-skinned artiste, who has just released a new song ‘Home Tonight’ with a video slated for release on October 31, has charged his colleagues to do more and not leave the art of singing in the hands of song producers who appear to be doing quite well as recording artists.

Razzy AG also hinted at plans to collaborate with a frontline artist before Christmas saying he isn’t going back on that plan, as he tries to hire a veteran broadcaster and music promoter whose name he didn’t mention as his manager.
