The state High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, has convicted and sentenced three men to 14 years imprisonment without an option of fine for kidnapping 83-year-old woman identified as Theresa Nwosu.
Kelechi Nnaji, Bright Anele, Onyebuchi Nweke and Confidence Ozuowu, were arrested and arraigned on a three-count charge of kidnapping, conspiracy and possession of illegal arms.
The trial Judge, Justice Boma Diepiri found Nnaji, Anele and Nweke guilty, but discharged and acquitted Ozuowu.
