Prudent Energy Premier H’ball League enters day five

Defending champions Kano Pillars, Seasider Babes, Defenders Babes and Safety Babes won their matches yesterday at the on-going Season Five of the Prudent Energy Premier Handball League holding at the Sports Hall of the University of Lagos, Akoka.

Kano Pillars beat Lagos Seasiders after whitewashing them 38 to 27 while Owena Kings and Police Machine tied at 22-22 draw in the men’s category.

In the women’s category, Benue Queens succumbed to Seasider Babes, who beat them 28-21 while Defenders Babes defeated Rima Queens 27 to 23, as league leaders, Safety Babes hedged out Bendel Dynamos 26 to 22.

In today’s match Day five fixtures, Confluence Stars will meet Tojemarine Academy, while D: Defenders will square up with Owena Kings, just as Kada Stars will clash with Niger United, Rima Strikers against Safety Shooters, Benue Buffaloes in a duel against Lagos Seasiders and Kano Pillars in a date against Police Machine in the male category.

In the women’s category, Defenders Babes will clash with Kada Queens, Seasiders Babes in supremacy clash against Bendel Dynamos, Benue Queens in a duel against Adorable Angels, Imo Grasshoppers versus Plateau Peacocks and Rima Queens in a match up against Safety Babes.
