The Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) has appointed Mohamed Maarouf Eid Mansour from Egypt to officiate the Confederations Cup playoff first-leg clash between Rivers United and Libya’s El Nasr Benghazi.
The match, which will be the first time both teams are meeting, is scheduled for November 2 at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt.

Eid Monsour, 35, will be assisted by compatriots, Mohamed Abouzid Halhal (Assistant I), Ahmed Hossam Eldin (Assistant II), and Mohamed Elsaid Hussien (Fourth referee).
The match commissioner will be Prince Kai Saquee from Sierra Leone while Mendy John Frank from Gambia will serve as the referee assessor and Ozi Salami Abdulrahim will be the COVID-19 officer.
