It was a good day for Confluence Stars, Tojemarine Academy of Lagos, Plateau Peacocks and Imo Grasshoppers as they all recorded wins on yesterday in the Prudent Energy Premier Handball League at the University of Lagos Sports Centre, Akoka.
Confluence Stars defeated Police Machine 23-22 in one of the games in the men’s category. Both teams were evenly matched as they gave their all in a game that could have gone either way but it was the Stars who emerged victorious in tight encounter.

Tojemarine returned to winning ways by beating Benue Baffalos 30-23. The Lagos team lost to Niger United on Sunday 23-17 but battled hard on Monday to beat the Makurdi team and continue their rise in the league.
Also Kano Pillars defeated Niger United 29-21, Owena Kings beat Lagos Seasiders 34–31, while D:Defenders lost to Safety Shooters 34 -14.
In the women’s category, Seasider Babes of Lagos lost to Plateau Peacock 18-21, while Imo Grasshoppers beat Benue Queens 28-21.
