Mavin records singing sensation Oyinkansola Aderibigbe aka Ayra Starr has opened up on how her trending trending single, ‘Rush,’ gave her goosebumps after recording.
Ayra Starr made this known during a conversation with Dadaboy Ehiz in a recent episode of Apple Music 1’s Africa Now Radio.
She said, ‘Rush’ is going to be so big. I’ve not made a song that had made me have goosebumps in a long time, since ‘Bloody Samaritan.’
Continuing, the ‘Bloody Samaritan’ star said God used her to create the sound.
“I want to make a song that I will feel content when I leave the studio like “Damn I just made something immaculate,” and that’s what it was with ‘Rush.’ I felt so relieved, I felt like God had used me to create this sound, so ‘Rush’ had to be in the Deluxe no matter what. It had to be there,” she said.
Ayra Starr, is a Nigerian singer, who was born in Cotonou, Benin, and began a fashion career at the age of 16 with Quove Model Management before deciding to pursue music.
