Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Atiku Abubakar has appointed Ibrahim Zango as his principal secretary.
Zango’s appointment was announced in a letter signed by the PDP’s presidential flag bearer.
The appointee, an indigene of Katsina State, is a seasoned public officer who served in foreign missions, including United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, among others.
Zango was chief Protocol officer at Presidential Villa between 2001 and 2002.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from University of Sokoto and a Master’s in International Relations from Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, UK.
He is a Fellow of Abshire-Inamori Leadership Academy, Centre for Strategic and International Studies, Washington DC.
Zango attended several training in operation, administration and management of Foreign Service at home and abroad.
