‘We will mobilise farmers for Tinubu-Shettima ‘

The Director of Agro-Commodities Directorate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Abubakar Kukah, has said the directorate will mobilise farmers for the election of Asiwaju Tinubu.

The director said farmers comprise about 70 per cent of the nation’s population.

He said the goal of the directorate is to reach farmers through their groups, commodity associations and cooperatives.

Kukah spoke at the inauguration of members of the directorate yesterday in Abuja.

He said: “The event of today is one that avails all of us the opportunity to participate in the process that will bring in Renewed Hope for all farmers across the Country.

“As we are all aware, the largest voting population in Nigeria is among farmers who live predominantly in rural Nigeria. Farmers make up about 70 per cent of the entire population of the country. The goal of this directorate is to device means to reach these farmers through the various farm groups, commodity associations and cooperatives.

“Our task is simple: mobilise these farmers to deliver 25 million votes for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”

Kukah urged members of the directorate to bring their skills, expertise and knowledge to deliver on their mandate.

“Let us all join hands and mobilise all farmers to ensure that No Farmer Is Left Behind,” he added.
