Katsina State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has lifted the suspension on its governorship candidate, Senator Yakubu Danmarke, for alleged anti party activities
State Acting Chairman of PDP, Alhaji Salisu Uli, in a statement, said the liftingwas a fallout of a decision taken shortly after his appointment as acting chairman of PDP in the state.
Senator Danmarke was given one month suspension by former Chairman of the party, Alhaji Majigiri, for allegedly not following rules and regulations” of the party.
Uli, who was formerly deputy state chairman, was recently appointed on acting capacity by the National Working Committee.
The lifting of the suspension was contained in a letter signed by PDP’s National Organising Secretary, Alhaji Umar Bature.

The organising secretary, further disclosed that the lifting of the suspension was an official decision taken shortly after the appointment of Alhaji Salisu Lawal Uli as acting Chairman of the PDP in Katsina State.
Meanwhile the PDP in Katsina State has spelt out conditions for lifting the one-month suspension imposed on its governorship candidate, Senator Yakubu Lado Danmarke.
A letter by its acting Chairman, Alhaji Salisu Lawal Uli and addressed to the National Chairman of the party, Senator Iyorchia Ayu, a copy of which was made available to newsmen in Katsina on Saturday, spelt out the conditions
The letter read “I humbly wish to write on behalf of the state working committee based on consultation with elders of the party at both state and national levels to lift the one month suspension of Katsina State PDP on the party’s gubernatorial candidate’’
“That you will identify totally with PDP’s Presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, recognise and work with the Katsina leadership of the party under the acting chairmanship of Salisu Lawal Uli, the PDP working committee and other duly elected party structure at all levels.
