New monarch of Lakowe in Ibeju Lekki Local Government, Oba Hakeem Ojomu, has promised to promote unity among his subjects.
He vowed to deliver the votes to candidates of All Progressives Congress (APC).
The monarch spoke after he was installed and presented with the staff of office by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, represented by Special Adviser on Local Government & Chieftaincy Matters, Bolaji Roberts.

Seven monarchs were installed and given instruments of office in Ibeju Lekki council.
The monarch thanked the governor and hailed Sanwo-Olu for developing Ibeju Lekki and Lagos State.
Oba Ojomu urged the government to provide the town with roads and upgrade the health centre to a hospital.
Roberts enjoined the people to rally round their obas for the growth and development of Ibeju-Lekki and the state.
