Inspector General of Police, Usman Baba, has said good policing and community relations need a good work environment.
He spoke at the unveiling of a police barracks and station built by Adron Homes at Shimawa in Ogun State.
Usman, represented by AIG of Zone 2, Bode Adeleke, said good policing is a team work. He hailed Adron Homes and Properties for investing in security in their place of business.
Commissioner of Police Lanre Bankole said the gesture would boost officers’ morale tin their responsibilities.

He encouraged other businesses to emulate Adron and partner the police for a safer environment.
The company’s Group Managing Director Aare Adetola Emmanuel, reaffirmed the firm’s commitment to collaborating with the police, saying ‘safety was everyone’s responsibility; safety and security don’t just happen, they are the result of collective consensus and public investment’.
“Every investment in security is an investment in life because being conscious also means being responsible, and this is one way we believe we can demonstrate our resolve and desire to give back to society”, he said.
