Niger gov, siblings roll out drums for Sanni Bello at 80

GOVERNOR of Niger State, Abubakar Bello, and his siblings have concluded plans to roll out drums for retired Col. Sanni Bello as he turns 80 on November 27, 2022.

Though the awaiting Octogenarian does not believe in elaborate birthday celebrations, his children are going all out to make his 80th memorable and colourful. To fulfill his philanthropic ways, his children led by Governor Bello have rolled out a list of activities to mark the moneybags and influential Nigerian statesmen.

The 80th birthday celebrations kicked off on November 6 with an event themed: ‘A Platinum Pillar @ 80’ at the International Conference Centre, Abuja. The event served as the launch of a book written by Ahmed Tanko on Sanni Bello entitled: ‘An Inspirational Leader.’ Those in attendance include: Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, top politicians, captains of industry, and several socialites.

Following the book launch in honour of Bello, other activities will resume on November 19, when the octogenarian will commission an International ICT Centre at KM2 Sokoto-Yauri Road, Usubu in his hometown Kotangora, Niger State before the grand finale of the event on November 27, when the Bellos will be celebrating the family’s patriarch in what promises to be a memorable event that would have dignitaries from everywhere in Nigeria as well as friends, family, and business associates in attendance.
