The final of the 16th edition of the Lagos State Inter-Agency Football Competition tagged HOS Cup will hold today at the Onikan Water Front Mini Stadium between Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) team and Lagos Judiciary team.
The tournament sponsored by the Lagos state Head of Service, Muri Okunola is for workers in various Lagos State’s ministries and parastatals
Meanwhile, LASUTH Team and Judiciary Team are not new to each other in the Ikeja communities as both sides met in at the quarterfinal stage of the competition in 2014.
LASUTH Team, called ‘team of the moment’ by their fans before this final stage, whitewashed Ministry of Home Affairs 6-0, thrashed Onigbongo LCDA 2-0, beat Ikeja Local Government 5-0, beat LASUTH team Ojo 3-1 and also beat Public Service Office (PSO) 1-0.
Ex-International coach of LASUTH, Toyin Adegoke promised LASUTH management and their fans not to let them down by securing victory in the final.
Adegoke also praised Director of Administration, Kehinde Gbajumo for his moral and financial support towards the LASUTH side, dding that the team will not let him down. Health service Commission (HSC) won third place match.
In the female category, SUBEB will slug it out with Public Service Office team in the final while the Ministry of Health already won the third place.
