The Chairman of Independent Campaign Council (ICC), Cardinal James Odunmbaku, has led the inauguration of the council to mobise voters for the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima, and Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, ahead of the general election on February 25 and March 11.

 Others named as officials of the campaign include Tayo Akinmade Ayinde, Femi Okeowo, Tayo Shodeinde, Afolabi Adebayo, Otunba Tony Omotayo, Prince Bidemi Akintunde, Michael Shittu and Otunba Tony Akinyemi.

 The council’s executives who were also listed to work for the party’s election success include Babatunde Seriki, Abiodun Alli, Muyiwa Adesuwa, Dr. Akin Lee Bejide, Ayokunle Agunbiade, Bola Osin, Tunde Ajisola, Funmi Adenusi, Adegboyega Richard, Bukola Apena, Samuel Omotayo, Bisoye Oshodi, and Rukayat Basaru.

 Also named for the campaign council are: Taiwo Jegunmah, Olalekan ‘Magic’ Azeez, Femi Opabola, Ladi Vera-Cruz, David Erogbogbo, Sekinat Adams, Adenike Ishalaye, and Alhaja Aolat Tomi Sule.

 The campaign council officials are to help mobilise, sensitise and organise Nigerians, friends of the country and corporate organisations in the United Kingdom (UK) and Nigeria to ensure victory for Asiwaju Tinubu/Shettima and Sanwo-Olu/Obafemi Hamzat as well as all the party’s candidates in the general election.

 The campaign council executives are expected to be sworn in by Lawal Pedro (SAN) on January 28.
