An Akure Chief Magistrate Court sitting in Akure has sentenced one Victor Isaac to three years imprisonment for stealing a generator worth N500,000.
Isaac, 21, was said to have committed the offence on January 8, 2023 at No. 10, Imade street, Ijapo Estate, Akure.
He pleaded guilty to the one count of stealing preferred against him and informed the court that he stole the generator and sold it for N9,000.

Counsel to the convict, Kehinde Osadugba, prayed the court to temper justice with mercy and pleaded that the convict did not give the court tough time.
Presiding Magistrate, Tope Aladejana, found him guilty of the offence and sentenced him to three years jail term without an option of fine.
