A nursing mother, Mrs Olayinka Kayode, who is also a teenage teacher at Union Baptist Church, Osogbo has been kidnapped with her child while returning home in Osun capital. The Nation learnt.
It was gathered that Mrs Kayode was returning home from her shop when gunmen accosted her at Otaefun/Kobo area of Osogbo around 6pm on Tuesday.
A statement by Senior Pastor of the victim’s church, Rev. Sunday Adeoye, on Wednesday to newsmen confirmed the incident.

He stated Mrs Kayode was taken to unknown location and the abductors contacted the husband for N5m ransom. “They instructed us to pay into the account of their victim.
We solicit for the continued prayers and supports of all and sundry while we believe in God Almighty that Mrs. Olayinka Tosin Kayode and her child will regain their freedom and be reunited with their family and the Church of God soon,” he said.
Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps(NSCDC), Osun State command, Kehinde Adeleke said they are on top of the situation to rescue the woman.
