Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has reappointed Mr. Fatai Idowu Onafowote as Director General of the Lagos State Public Procurement Agency (PPA), for a second and final four-year term.
The approval for the reappointment was conveyed in a letter signed by the Head of Service (HoS), Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola.
The HoS said the reappointment was in recognition of Onafowote’s “integrity, selfless service and record of impressive performance.”
He hoped the DG would bring his wealth of experience to bear on the mandate of the agency and that he would continue to justify the confidence reposed in him by the governor
Onafowote was first appointed and confirmed as director general of the agency for four-year tenure in December 2018. He was employed in the Lagos State civil service a little over three decades ago and has served the state in several capacities.
