Dopemu community and the Awori have reassured Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of their support.
They spoke at the National Awori Day attended by the Awori in Lagos and Ogun states, held at the Police College Playing Ground, Ikeja.
It was a day Awori indigenes converged to rub minds together.
Speaking to reporters, an illustrious son of Awori and the Baale of Dopemuland in Agege Local Government of Lagos State, Chief Shuaib Afogunlowo, expressed gratitude to the Awori in the two states, in the diaspora, their President at home and abroad, Alhaji Olagbayi, committee members, ‘baales’ and monarchs for their contribution to the success of Awori Day.
Afogunlowo urged the electorate to conduct themselves orderly and maintain peace before, during and after the forthcoming general election nationwide. He advised the Awori to vote for Asiwaju Tinubu in the presidential election.
