Delta State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) pressure group, Delta Unity Group (D.U.G.), has endorsed the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, as its candidate for Saturday’s election.
The group formed for the actualisation of Olorogun Edevbie’s governorship ambition, has as members, former speakers of the House of Assembly, ex-Secretary to the State Government and former civil commissioners.
The body announced the endorsement of Omo-Agege at a meeting yesterday in Agbor, Ika South Local Government.
A statement by DUG Chairman Board of Trustees, Prof. Patrick Muoboghare, said the choice of Omo-Agege was reached after weeks of consultations with organs that made up the body.
