The League of Imams and Alfas in Ijebu-Ode and Remoland has backed the re-election of Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun.
The Chief Imam of Ijebuland, Miftaudeen Ayanbadejo, said Governor Abiodun had done very well for the state despite the challenges faced as a result of COVID-19 pandemic and other challenges.
Alhaji Abdul-Kadir Junaid hailed the governor for the development the state had enjoyed in the last three and a half years.
The lawmaker representing Ogun East and the Director-General of the Dapo Abiodun Campaign Council, Senator Olalekan Mustapha, praised Governor Abiodun for embarking on the overall turnaround of infrastructures across the state.
The Chairman, O’odua Investment, Bimbo Ashiru, said the governor deserved second term because he had performed well.
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Tele Ogunjobi, enjoined the people to vote for Abiodun “because he is the only governor after the late Bisi Onabanjo that has done more in terms of road infrastructure.”
Governor Abiodun thanked the people for their prayers and endorsement.
He promised to give the citizens more dividends of democracy if re-elected.
