The lawmaker representing Badagry Federal Constituency, Mr. Babatunde Hunpe, has facilitated the building of six blocks of classrooms at Topo Senior Grammar School, Badagry, Lagos.

Addressing the people, he said this was part of the promises he made during the electioneering campaign in 2019, before he was elected to represent his people in the House of Representatives.

“My people, before I contested the 2019 election, I went round schools in Badagry communities and saw our children sitting on the floor.

“In some schools, we had close to 100 pupils in a classroom. I felt sad and promised that I would use my office as a lawmaker to solve these problems.

“As a federal lawmaker, I distributed uniforms to pupils in primary schools in Badagry.

“Today, I have facilitated the building of blocks of classrooms in schools in Badagry and equipped them with furniture.

“As a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Badagry, I’m fulfilled seeing our children receiving education in a conducive environment,” Hunpe said.

Dignitaries at the event include Mr. Sunday Kappo, the Commissioner, Lagos State Audit Service Commission, Mrs. Elizabeth Kappo, Vice Chairman, Badagry Local Government, Mr. Fatai Adenugba, traditional chiefs and APC chieftains.
