•Senator congratulates Makinde

The lawmaker representing Badagry Federal Constituency, Mr. Babatunde Hunpe, has congratulated Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his deputy, Dr. Kadri Hamzat, on their victories at the just concluded election.
Hunpe, in a congratulatory message yesterday, said Sanwo-Olu’s historic re-election was a strong approval stamp on what he was doing for democracy, peace and freedom.
“The results truly showed the deserving candidate and the margin by which you won reflected the effect of your hard work, dedication and commitment of delivering good governance to Lagosians.
“This is a well-deserved victory for Sanwo-Olu and Hamzat, as they have always embarked on priority and life changing projects.
“It was an indication that Sanwo-Olu meant well for the people of Lagos State.
“His re-election provides him another opportunity to justify the hope reposed in him by the people.
“It is a time to reflect and chart a way to get the dividends of democracy across to the masses.
“It is another opportunity to alleviate the sufferings of the masses and put smiles on the faces of our people at the grassroots, especially we in Badagry.
“I believe Sanwo-Olu and his deputy will do more for the people of Lagos State,” he said.
Senator Rilwan Akanbi has sent a congratulatory message to Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde on his re-election .
He said: “I’m excited that the people of Oyo State under your leadership have shown their commitment to growing our democracy and building a country where leaders are elected without violence.
