High Chief Orikolade Ayodele Karim has congratulated Oyo Governor Seyi Makinde on his resounding victory at the Saturday’s guber polls.
Karim, in a statement, described the election results as a “no victor; no vanquish” but God’s will and the prevail of the wish of the people of Oyo state.
He said: ‘’I eulogize the Governor as a good representative of our people, a worthy ambassador of Yoruba heritage, a committed personality to the Unity of Nigeria on the principles of Justice, Fairness and Equity and also an excellent administrator leading a purpose driven development of Oyo state. Your Excellency, your dedication and focus for purpose will not be forgotten for generations to come”.
He further admonished the Governor to continue and increase the tempo in his quest for the accelerated development of Ibadan land and Oyo state as a whole while promising to be of usual support to the State and his Government.
“I congratulate you sir and wish you success as we journey into the next administrative years. Long live Ibadan Land, Long Live Oyo State,“ the statement reads.
