APC chieftain urges Muslims to pray for incoming administration

As Muslims around the world celebrate to mark the end of the one month Ramadan fasting, chieftain of an All Progressives Congress (APC) in Borno State, Dr Abiso Kabir, has called for a national prayer for the successful transition of power and progress of the incoming administration.

Abiso, who is the national chairman of Forum of Tinubu Shetima Support Groups (FOTSS-G) and the deputy director of Special Duties III for APC Presidential Campaign Council, stated this in his goodwill message to Muslims.

The APC chieftain, who prayed Allah (SWT) to reward everyone for the Ramadan fasting and forgive their shortcomings, urged Muslims across the country to use the period to also pray for peaceful reign of the incoming administration.

He urged them not to cease praying for wisdom for Nigeria’s leaders and for security, prosperity and peaceful transition for the country.

“The challenges we face today we soon come to an end, we all owe this country a duty by praying fervently for our leaders to have a peaceful reign.

“Ramadan fasting teaches us virtues of Islam which should be maintained after the fasting period.

“Our country is in dire need of prayers, we must not deviate from the teachings of the Holy month of Ramadan and imbibe them as we live together in peace and harmony.

Abiso however noted that the incoming administration of President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kashim Shettima would continue to promote peace and peaceful coexistence across the state.

“Our incoming leaders will concentrate on people-oriented projects and policies that would improve the lives of our people” the Governor added.

He further urged the people to continue supporting government programmes to enhance speedy execution for progress.
