In its bid of engaging the safety, security management, and other stakeholders during the forthcoming ‘Securex Conference’ coming up on June 2023, the delegates from the United Kingdom (UK) Department for Business and Trade, in the office of Deputy British High Commission in Lagos State, along with UK Defence and Security Exports – London have paid an official visit to RS2 Command of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).
The visit afforded the delegates an opportunity to have an introductory meeting with the Zonal Commanding Officer, ACM Gilbert Ibebuka Igbokwe, and to discuss issues of common interest that bordered on Security and Safety, particularly Road and Fire Safety.
At the meeting were: Principal Fire and Security Advisor, Department for International Trade, UK Defence and Security Exports- London, Micheal Dayson; Deputy Country Director/Investment Department for Business and Trade in the Office of British Deputy High Commission Lagos State, Morayo Adekunle; ACM Igbokwe, RS2 Head of Policy Research and Statistics, Deputy Corps Commander, Macharm Sambo and RS2 Public Education/ Protocol, Route Commander Ruth Olufunmilola Kupoluyi.
