The Most Beautiful Girl Mushin Odi-Olowo (MBGMOD) initiative will see to the grooming of young girls as leaders, the spokesperson, Ms. Atileke Ajayi, has said.
At a news conference in Lagos to announce the maiden edition, Ms. Ajayi said the pageant would offer young girls opportunity to engage, learn culture, and showcase communal values, arts, crafts, innovation, and intellectual capacity to the world.
She said the initiative will support women and offer solutions to challenges – domestic violence, child abuse and neglect, sexual abuse, and low political inclusion as well as participation.

Online registration had started and will last two months.
“Participation is free as long as you are from Mushin, and between 18 and 35. The winner will get N1 million, car, one-year education scholarship, a N500,000 wardrobe allowance, one-year project (funded) and others.
“First runner-up gets N500,000, one-year scholarship, N250,000 wardrobe money, one-year project (funded), and others. Second runner-up gets N250,000, one-year scholarship, N100,000 wardrobe money, and one-year project (funded),” Ajayi added.
