In a heartwarming celebration, Maggy Kria Soas, co-pastor at Revelation Church LA, joined hands with Prophet Lovy Elias on the 20th of May 2023. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, the couple exchanged vows in a simple ceremony held in the picturesque setting of Malibu, California.
With this union, Maggy will now be known and addressed as Maggy Kria Elias. Beyond her role as a co-pastor, Maggy is a talented designer and stylist, and the founder and creative director of SpiritandSoul, a contemporary women’s fashion brand based in Los Angeles, California.
Maggy’s journey in the fashion industry began after graduating from Hobbs High School in 2007. She continued her education at the University of Redlands in Redlands, California from 2007 to 2009. In 2012, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Apparel Design and Manufacturing summa cum laude from Texas Tech University. Her passion for fashion led her to intern and work for ‘The Row,’ the luxury clothing brand by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, in New York City, where she specialized in technical design.
In 2013, after gaining valuable experience and refining her skills, Maggy returned to Los Angeles to pursue her dream as a fashion designer. Within a year, she founded her own fashion company, ‘SpiritandSoul,’ offering contemporary women’s fashion. Her exceptional designs caught the attention of industry experts at trade shows like PROJECT WMNS in Las Vegas, where spiritandsoul was nominated by WWD as the best in show. Maggy also showcased her creations at Capsule New York, women’s RTW, during fashion week at Pier 94. Her innovative desert-themed boots, showcased at the event, were featured by the Huffington Post and attracted buyers from around the world, including the USA, Japan, and Australia. Maggy’s unique designs garnered significant recognition, and spiritandsoul completed three successful seasons, earning several prestigious awards before Maggy decided to explore the world of styling.
In 2017, Maggy embarked on her styling journey when she was contracted to style Grammy-nominated recording artist Stacie Orrico. The following year, she ventured into styling for Oprah Winfrey’s OWN network’s ‘LOVE IS’ TV series, as well as working with Will Catlett from CW’s ‘Black Lightning’ and Michele Weaver, a star from ‘Love Is.’
Currently residing in Los Angeles, California, Maggy continues to inspire and empower as the co-pastor Lead Prophetess overseeing the women’s outreach arm of Revelation Church LA. With her boundless creativity and dedication, Maggy Kria Elias is making her mark in both the spiritual and fashion realms, leaving an indelible impression on those she touches.
