Shank’s skit sparks controversy on social media

Popular skit maker Adesokan Emmanuel aka Shank Comics has sparked controversy on the internet with his recent skit ‘If Joseph was a Nigerian’.

Many people expressed dissatisfaction with the skit, describing it as an “insult to Christianity and Holy Ghost’.

Daniel Regina tweeted: “Shank has been doin a lot of silly things in the name of content, most times his skits aren’t funny & has no educational value, but him mocking Christianity is beyond disrespectful. The virgin birth of Jesus is a sacred story, & shouldn’t be mistold. He won’t try this with Islam”

Sultan wrote: “Keep disrespecting  your Religion but I beg you in the name of God,  never you near Muslims religion  even with an imagination,

I don’t  pray for that day,  but the day devil push you,  Nigeria will understand  the real madness of the North,

Your life is nothing  I swear ”

Another tweep Don “Tobechukwu” Ade said: “If upon watching this, it doesn’t steer up an anger in your spirit, then you do not have the Spirit of Christ in you.

“Both the creator, the actor, the sharer & those that mocked & laughed at this, ye all are of your father the devil.”
